COMMUNITY COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Nelson Scores 21 to Lead Fullerton Past Riverside

Angie Nelson scored 21 points had nine rebounds to lead Fullerton College to a 68-48 victory over Riverside in an Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball game Friday at Fullerton.

Candi Burnett added 14 for Fullerton (10-10, 2-1). Riverside is 14-8, 2-2.

Golden West 96, Rancho Santiago 67--After trailing early, Golden West went on a 27-7 run to lead, 43-22, at the half. Donna Gondringer led Golden West (23-1, 4-0) with 24 points. Rancho Santiago is 5-10, 0-3.
