Crystal vs. Murphy: Apparently, there’s bad blood between Eddie Murphy and Billy Crystal. The two former “Saturday Night Live” stars who both moved on to movies don’t speak to each other, People magazine says, because of some things Crystal said about Murphy in a 1988 Playboy magazine interview. “I don’t think he’s a good comedian,” Crystal had said. “When he came back and hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’ during my season, it was an uncomfortable week.” Murphy was angered by the remarks and wouldn’t accept when Crystal tried to apologize, People says. As a result, the magazine says, Murphy didn’t appear on “Saturday Night Live’s” 15th anniversary show last year because Crystal would be there and, despite his killer imitation of Sammy Davis Jr., Crystal was left off the guest list for a TV tribute to Davis because Murphy was hosting the event.
