COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Northridge Women Beat CSLA, 64-49

Forwards Denna Mulverhill and Julie Arlotto combined for 38 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists to lead Cal State Northridge to a 64-49 win over Cal State Los Angeles in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s game Friday night at Northridge.
Arlotto, who led all scorers with 23 points, made nine of 16 shots and five of six free throws as CSUN (8-13) improved to 5-1 in CCAA play and stayed one game behind first-place Cal Poly Pomona.
Anita Martinez had 14 points for Cal State L.A., which dropped to 7-13 overall, 1-5 in the CCAA.
MEN
Moorpark 90, West L.A. 76--Sam Crawford scored 25 points and had 13 assists to lead Moorpark (18-8, 6-3 in conference play) in a Western State Conference game at West L. A.
Greg Taylor had 23 points and Roger Thomas added 19 for Moorpark.
The Master’s 124, Dominican 77--Sophomore forward Tom Bruner scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Master’s (16-13, 7-4) in an NAIA District 3 game at Master’s.
Jason Webster also added 22 points for the Mustangs, who had five players score in double figures.
