HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS : DIVISION I

Mt. Carmel 63, Mt. Miguel 27--Chris Grazzini scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds for No. 1 seeded Mt. Carmel (19-5). Teammate Vicki de Jesus scored 11 points and had nine rebounds and Renee Schillaci added 10 points. Mt. Carmel led, 31-10, at halftime. Mt. Miguel finished 7-15.

Santana 57, Orange Glen 37--Rebecca Aase scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for No. 2 Santana. Desiree Weimann added 18 points for Santana. Carol Clinger had 11 for Orange Glen.

Vista 49, Chula Vista 47--Susan Sesma led Vista (13-12) with 18 points and Alicia Gerken added 15. Jennifer Martinez paced Chula Vista with 14 points.

DIVISION II

Point Loma 59, Madison 29--Tyeast Brown scored 24 points and Erica Crittenden scored 15 for No. 1 Point Loma (24-3). Teammate Robin Rabello added eight points and had 13 rebounds. Point Loma led, 25-13, at halftime.

San Pasqual 41, Mission Bay 23--Valerie Ryan scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for No. 2 San Pasqual (22-4). Mission Bay (10-14) was led by Jeanine Seeman. San Pasqual led, 23-19, going into the fourth quarter.

Serra 55, Monte Vista 46--Pamm Ross scored 21 and Lynn Tooms added 13 points and 16 rebounds for Serra. Amy Moreno’s 15 points led Monte Vista.

DIVISION V

Marian 34, Borrego Springs 24--Andanya Guevera scored 10 points for Marian and Patty Hernandez’ 12 points led Borrego Springs.
