Miraleste 26, L.A. Baptist 14--Miraleste took a lead it would not relinquish when Danny Sarner scored the first of his four touchdowns on a seven-yard run on the first drive of the nonleague game at Monroe High.

Sarner finished with 218 yards in 28 carries for Miraleste (1-1).

Dane Brown completed 14 of 30 for 161 yards and one touchdown for L. A. Baptist (0-2). Colyn Van Buren carried seven times for 33 yards.
