CLU Quarterback Withdraws From School

Feliciano Ramirez, a freshman who started Cal Lutheran's first two games at quarterback, has withdrawn from school, a university spokesman said Wednesday. Ramirez, from Los Angeles Wilson High, completed 14 of 42 passes for 157 yards in games against Azusa Pacific and Santa Barbara.

It was announced last week that Ramirez would not start last Saturday's game against Sonoma State, and he did not make the weekend trip. Ramirez reportedly withdrew from Cal Lutheran of his own volition on Friday.
