In other Division 3-A boys’ games:

Orange 3, West Torrance 1--Robert Rodriguez, Ed Gallegos and Juan Viveros each scored for host Orange (16-3-4).

El Toro 0, Millikan 0 (El Toro advances on penalty kicks, 5-4)--After two 10-minute overtimes, two sudden-death 10-minute periods, Dan Jacobs saved the first penalty for El Toro to make the winning difference. Jacobs had 18 saves for El Toro (10-4-4). The game started at Millikan’s (16-3-2) soccer field but moved to the football stadium for penalty kicks on goals without nets because of the need for lights.

El Modena 2, LB Wilson 1 (OT)--Jose Prado scored three minutes into sudden death on a breakaway for visiting El Modena (12-2-3). Prado scored 26 minutes into the first half but Billy Sacdala scored with 30 seconds left in first half for Wilson (15-6-2).

In Division 1-A boys’ soccer:

Saddleback 2, Troy 1--Hernan DeSantos scored with 15 minutes left to give host Saddleback (15-2-5) the victory. Brian Logan had 11 saves for Troy (9-6-3).

Corona del Mar 1, Elsinore 0--Billy Rimmer scored from about 12 yards out on a head assist from Scott Owen 15 minutes into the first half for host Corona del Mar (15-6-2).

In Division 2-A girls’ soccer:

Anaheim 2, Calabasas 1--Shannon Wons scored both goals for host Anaheim, including the winning goal with five minutes left in the game.

Valencia 1, Bonita 0--Jill Sancher scored 20 minutes into the game off a throw-in by Michele Lytle for host Valencia (13-10-1).
