Fifteen Santa Monica College football players have signed letters of intent with four-year colleges, and academic All-American SMC quarterback Jeff Barrett is expected to sign soon with either Yale or Brown.

Those who signed and their schools are:

Defensive tackle Mark Cottingham, Oregon State; defensive end Lewis Capes, Colorado State and two-way linemen Adrian Brayboy, Andre Murray and Eric Thomas and center Daniel Williford and defensive back Dan Robinson with Kentucky State.

Also signing letters were wide receivers Napoleon Banks and Turhon O’Bannon, New Mexico, linebackers Joe Hovorka and Thomas Runyon, San Francisco State, and cornerback Paxton Griffin, Ball State.

Others signing included cornerback Mark Ricks, Western Michigan; tight end Jeff Williamson, Cal State Long Beach; running back-kick returner Dante Ware, Ohio University and punter-wide receiver Terry Sigler, Cal State Chico.
