Santa Ana’s Bill Ross to Be Honored Tonight

Bill Ross, who coached Santa Ana High School’s baseball team in five decades before retiring last spring, will be honored tonight in Walnut Creek by the California Coaches Assn. as the state’s top baseball coach for 1990.
Ross, the boys’ athletic director at Santa Ana, coached the school’s baseball team from 1959-1990.
