Dons Give Sneddon a Milestone Victory

There was little drama in Don Sneddon’s 300th victory as Rancho Santiago College’s baseball coach. The Dons had 20 hits and routed Saddleback, 17-1, in an Orange Empire Conference game Monday at Saddleback.

Sneddon, in his 10th season at Rancho Santiago, is 300-103-1.

Jeff White was six for six, including a two-run home run, and Robin Lindsey hit two two-run home runs and scored four runs for Rancho Santiago (27-4, 10-1 in conference).

Paul O’Hearn (8-0) allowed two hits in six innings. Saddleback (11-14, 3-8) scored its only run on Mark Wells’ home run in the seventh.
