The Loyola Marymount baseball team plays host to the University of San Diego in a West Coast Conference series starting today at Page Stadium.

The teams will play a three-game series and complete a game that was suspended because of darkness last month in San Diego. The suspended game and the opener of the series will be played today starting at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the teams will play a doubleheader starting at noon.

The Lions trail WCC leader Pepperdine by 2 1/2 games, but are five games behind in the loss column. After Saturday’s doubleheader, the Lions start a nine-game road trip. Loyola’s next home game is May 12. Loyola (25-17 overall, 15-8 in WCC play) has a 10-12 road record.
