Hollywood 14, St. Genevieve 6--Hollywood converted two errant Valiant punt snaps into 14 fourth-quarter points at Birmingham High.
Midway through the fourth quarter, St. Genevieve punter Noel Villanueva dropped the snap and was tackled at the one-yard line. Curtis Fisher scored on the next play to give Hollywood a 7-6 lead.
On St. Genevieve’s next possession, the snap sailed over Villanueva’s head, and he again was tackled at the one-yard line. Fisher scored on the ensuing play.
St. Genevieve’s lone score came early in the second quarter when Ivan Garcia connected with Sal Tannous on a six-yard pass that capped a 23-yard drive.
