Capistrano Valley Cruises by Dana Hills

Matt Moore scored 16 points as Capistrano Valley defeated Dana Hills, 72-55, in a South Coast League boys’ basketball game Friday at Capistrano Valley.
Steve Ransom added 12 points and seven rebounds for Capistrano Valley (18-3, 5-0 in league), which is ranked No. 2 in Orange County behind Mater Dei.
Tom Airey had 11 points for the Cougars, including three three-pointers. Capistrano Valley scored 30 points in the second quarter to take a 42-27 halftime lead.
