SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

San Gabriel Valley high schools enjoyed another successful boys’ basketball season that featured outstanding performances by players in every Southern Section division.

The Times 1992 San Gabriel Valley All-Star team highlights the diversity of talent that helped the area produce one Southern Section champion, a runner-up and several league and tournament champions.

The 10-player team was selected based on ballots received from area coaches, who were asked to nominate their own players and opposing players and to select a coach of the year.
