El Camino College forward Tyrone Paul signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of San Franciso in the fall.

Paul, a 6-foot-5 junior forward from Morningside High, led the Warriors in rebounding (9.8 a game) last season and was second in scoring with a 13.2 average.

Paul was an All-South Coast Conference second-team selection as a sophomore. As a senior at Morningside in 1989-90, he was named to The Times’ South Bay All-Star team after averaging 20.5 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots. Paul played at Clemson as a freshman but transferred to El Camino for his sophomore season.
