OUTLOOK

Castle, the offensive coordinator at San Clemente the past two seasons, takes over at La Quinta for Roger Takahashi, who is now the offensive coordinator at Los Amigos. Castle is banking on a conditioning program and solid special teams to put the Aztecs back into playoff contention. “We believe we can win with aggressive special teams,” he said. The Aztecs will feature a one-back or no-back, no-huddle offense that emphasizes ball control. Satitpunwaycha probably will be the back in most cases. Chaney and free safety McManus, a transfer from Mater Dei, lead the defense.
