Nordhoff 19, Santa Ynez 6--Senior quarterback Steve Saum passed for 190 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rangers (2-0) at home.
Saum, who completed nine of 14, threw touchdown passes of 45 yards to Mike York and 39 yards to James Colborn in the second quarter. In the third period, he threw 37 yards to Jason Kimpton for a touchdown as Nordhoff built a 19-0 lead.
