Oak Park 21, Calabasas 18--Mark Schwanauer scored 14 of Oak Park’s points, including all 11 in the fourth quarter as the Eagles (2-0) came from behind to win without star tailback Tarik Smith.
Oak Park’s go-ahead touchdown came with 6:29 left when Schwanauer hauled in a 40-yard pass from Damian Delfino. Schwanauer added two points on a conversion run then recovered his own ensuing onside kick. He also kicked two field goals.
Eckert, replacing Smith who was benched for disciplinary reasons, carried 22 times for 113 yards. Delfino completed 10 of 22 for 210 yards.
Calabasas (1-1) led, 18-10, at halftime thanks to second-quarter touchdown runs of 12 and 22 yards by fullback Mark Warshaw, who finished with 89 yards in 10 carries.
