Channel Islands 21, Hueneme 0--Senior defensive back Sal Lopez intercepted four passes as the Raiders (2-0) rolled at home.
Brian Ortiz rushed 11 times for 54 yards and scored two touchdowns for Channel Islands. Quarterback Mike Mariz added 48 yards rushing in six carries and completed eight of 16 for 145 yards, including a 55-yard scoring pass to Cesar Puga. Hueneme’s David Andrade, who completed 20 of 38 for 227 yards, threw five interceptions for Hueneme (0-2).
