Kilpatrick 32, Whittier Christian 28--The visiting Mustangs overcame a 28-12 halftime deficit at Whittier College.

Harvard-Westlake 17, Cathedral 6--Don Donester rushed for 170 yards in 22 carries and scored a touchdown on a 60-yard run with 5:20 left to give the host Wolverines their margin of victory.

Harvard (2-3), which led, 10-0, at halftime, outgained Cathedral, 339 yards to 221, but the Wolverines turned the ball over on their first four possessions of the second half to keep the Phantoms’ hopes alive.
