Sylmar 40, Grant 0--Ibn Bilal blasted for 204 yards and four touchdowns in 19 carries to lead host Sylmar (4-0, 2-0). Bilal scored on runs of six, three, 43 and two yards.
Mike Anderson intercepted two Grant passes in the first half. He returned the first interception 29 yards to the Lancer six-yard line to set up Bilal’s first scoring run.
Sylmar posted its second shutout in three weeks, holding Grant (0-4-1, 0-2) to no yards passing and 114 yards rushing, 87 of which came on one run by Ilan Zilberman.
