Quartz Hill 16, Ridgecrest Burroughs 14--Brad Norris passed for 227 yards, including a five-yard touchdown to Brad Breckenridge, to lead host Quartz Hill.
Quartz Hill (3-5, 2-1) scored midway through the third quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Gary Graham for the winning score. Norris threw three interceptions, two in the fourth quarter.
Joseph Tuipala scored Burroughs’ touchdowns on runs of two and 11 yards. He finished with 35 yards in seven carries. Quarterback Jason Griffin completed six of 10 passes for 102 yards. Burroughs fell to 3-5, 0-3.
