BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Thursday’s Games

South Gate 58, Jordan 38--South Gate, behind the scoring of Eric Wright and Saipele Tuialii, easily beat Jordan in a Southeastern Conference game.

Wright had 25 points and Tuialii added 24 as the team made a quick getaway to play in the Simi Valley tournament.

Playing in their fourth of five games in three days, South Gate played a slow-down offense to conserve energy for their game that evening against Palmdale. Guard Miguel Villegas missed the game with a sprained left ankle.
