Corona del Mar 60, Tustin 47--Mollie Flint had 36 points and Nikki Ricci added 14 for host Corona del Mar (9-4, 2-2).
University 63, Saddleback 33--Jennifer Stanley had 20 points for visiting University (7-6, 3-1), which led at the half, 32-11. Nicole Gallardo had 10 assists and six steals for University.
Santa Margarita 84, Irvine 37--Forward Lesley Noland led visiting Santa Margarita (4-9, 2-2) with 24 points.
In the Century League:
Villa Park 56, Orange 30--Maureen Skehan had 20 points, eight rebounds and six steals for Villa Park. She scored 14 of Villa Park’s 23 in the third quarter as the Spartans took a 44-21 lead.
Santa Ana Valley 61, Foothill 33--Marie Pulu had 16 points and Susie Guerrero 14 for Santa Ana Valley (6-8, 2-1).
El Modena 37, Canyon 34--Kristi Bolle made a 17-footer with about 25 seconds left for the game’s final points to clinch a victory for host El Modena (5-8, 1-2).
In the Empire League:
El Dorado 71, Los Alamitos 61 (OT)--Julie Bluth had five points and three steals in overtime for host El Dorado (14-2, 1-2). Jody Caruso scored 21 points for Los Alamitos.
Cypress 49, Katella 39--Trailing at the half, 22-17, Cypress rallied with a 17-5 advantage in the third quarter to take control. Jessica Eggleston had 25 points and 23 rebounds for the Centurions (12-5, 3-0). Chris Carrillo had 16 points for Katella (12-3, 2-1).
In the Orange League:
Brea-Olinda 81, Valencia 32--Sarah Beckley had 18 of her game-high 28 points in the second quarter for Brea-Olinda (14-2, 2-0). Brea, the top-ranked team in Orange County, outscored Valencia, 32-4, in the second quarter to take a 56-8 lead.
Magnolia 50, Anaheim 25--Barbara Mathews led Magnolia (9-6, 2-0) with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Joanne Rodriguez led Anaheim with 12 points.
Savanna 49, Western 47--Nelda Sweet made a free throw with three seconds to play to clinch the victory for Savanna (7-8, 2-0).
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 60, Buena Park 29--Martha Hernandez had 22 points and five assists and Amy Lien had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the visiting Highlanders (8-7, 3-0).
Sunny Hills 40, Sonora 36--Trailing, 31-25, entering the fourth quarter, Sunny Hills (6-9, 2-1) outscored Sonora, 15-5, to win. Sonora dropped to 5-10, 0-3.
Troy 49, Fullerton 36--Audra Gamst led visiting Troy with 18 points and Jeannie Gadd had 10 for Troy (14-3, 3-0).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Century 46, Laguna Beach 25--Sophomore Nina Alexander scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for host Century (8-8, 1-2). Laguna Beach dropped to 7-9, 1-2.
Costa Mesa 71, Laguna Hills 42--Olivia DiCamilli had 21 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and four steals for Costa Mesa (14-4, 3-0).
In the Sunset League:
Marina 64, Fountain Valley 43--Aimee Periolat had 12 points and seven assists and Jessica Trippet had 11 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out for host Marina (12-3, 5-0).
Edison 52, Westminster 46--Joan Paje had 21 points for host Edison (10-5, 4-1). Teammate Janette Oriza had 13 rebounds and 11 points.
Huntington Beach 66, Rosary 31--Clare Walker led Huntington Beach (14-3, 4-1) with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Deana Itow scored 15 points and had 12 assists for the Oilers.
Santa Ana 44, Ocean View 43--Cynthia Trotter’s layup with four seconds to play lifted visiting Santa Ana (7-6, 1-4). Trotter finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and eight steals.
