The Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team lost its ninth consecutive game, 57-50, to visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills on Monday.

Both teams shot worse than 30% from the field, but the Toros made eight of 11 shots from three-point range. Karee Bonde led the Dominguez three-point barrage, sinking all six of her attempts and scoring 21 points.

Northridge freshman Alana Collins scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in 31 minutes.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Burroughs 2, Saugus 1--Roberto Perez scored his 10th goal of the season to break a 1-1 tie and give the Indians (11-2-2, 4-0-1) a Foothill League victory.

Alemany 0, Loyola 0--Carlos Castellanos made 12 saves and posted his sixth shutout of the season for Alemany (6-5-2, 3-2-1) in a Mission League game. Pat Kirchen made 10 saves for Loyola (8-3-1, 0-1-1).

Oak Park 2, Fillmore 1--Aaron Bettendorf’s goal broke a 1-1 tie and Oak Park held on.

Notre Dame 6, Crespi 1--Francisco Dongo scored three goals, his second hat trick of the season, to lead the Knights (8-6-2, 3-2-1).

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

St. Francis 46, Pius X 45--The Golden Knights led by 13 points after three quarters and held on for a Del Rey League victory despite making only two of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter. Dave Craig led first-place St. Francis (11-7, 6-0) with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Poly 51, Sherman Oaks 48--The Parrots (3-8, 1-3) converted four of five free throws in overtime to beat Sherman Oaks CES (1-9, 0-3) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference makeup game.

Knights’ guard Rahsaan Bradley hit the one of two free throws to tie it, 45-45, with 12 seconds remaining in regulation. John Cannon scored a game-high 22 points for Sherman Oaks CES.

Glendale Academy 92, Southeast Lutheran 73--Chirag Desai set a school record with 41 points and helped Glendale Academy (5-7) beat Southeast Lutheran.
