John Vargas, who said in September he was stepping down as Corona del Mar’s water polo coach after the 1992 season, has decided to return to coach the Sea Kings in 1993, his father, Jose A. Vargas, said Wednesday.
John Vargas, who has coached 10 seasons at Corona del Mar and led teams to four Southern Section titles, moved to Spain in December to marry Lisa Marie Jurcazak.
His father said Vargas plans to return in June.
