Outlook: The Roadrunners are on a mission in 1993, after they lost the final State championship berth to crosstown rival Santa Ana by just two points last season. The talented Santamaria heads the Saddleback seven, having run under 16:00 on the rigorous Mt. SAC course. Cordero produced a 1:58 for 800 meters on the track and is the second man for Coach Silva. Ochoa returns for his sophomore year after running as the fifth man as a freshman. Juniors Sandoval and Miramontes were the Roadrunners’ sixth and seventh men in 1992 and return this season. Jarro was the fourth man for the Roadrunners in 1991 and will assume sixth-man duties this season.
