Desert 14, Santa Paula 13--A fumble stalled a Santa Paula drive at the Desert 17-yard line with four minutes to play at Edwards Air Force Base.

Joseph Jauregui (three catches, 99 yards) scored all of Santa Paula’s points, kicking two field goals and an extra point and catching a 68-yard touchdown pass from Ralph Reyes that gave Santa Paula (0-2) a 13-7 third quarter lead. Reyes, who was sacked eight times, completed four of seven passes for 123 yards.
