SEASON AT A GLANCE: Aylsworth, Westlake’s sixth man, has been the key to the Warriors’ strong start in the Marmonte League. Aylsworth (5-foot-11) is a flashy ballhandler with a deft shooting touch from three-point range. He leads Westlake (9-2, 3-0 in league play) with 15.6 points, 4.1 assists and 3.0 steals a game.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Aylsworth scored 53 points with 10 assists and seven steals as Westlake defeated Newbury Park, 82-79, and Thousand Oaks, 57-52. He had 21 points, seven assists and four steals against Newbury Park--and was even better against Thousand Oaks. Aylsworth scored a career-high 32 points against the Lancers, including 11 of Westlake’s 12 points in the second quarter and 16 of his team’s 22 in the fourth quarter. “My shot felt really good,” Aylsworth said. “I kept putting them up and they kept going in.”
