North Valley Boys’ Game Postponed

Because of confusion over the availability of game sites, a North Valley League boys’ basketball game between El Camino Real and Reseda highs scheduled for today has been postponed.

The teams initially were set to play in the first game of a three-day round-robin tournament. The site and times of the event were changed twice Tuesday, however, and logistic problems made it impossible for Reseda to participate, Coach Jeff Halpern said.

Halpern said he hopes to play the game next Tuesday, perhaps at Taft High. The tournament was necessitated when earthquake damage left the gyms of several league members unavailable.
