SOUTHERN SECTION GIRLS’ SOCCER : Dana Hills Defeats Newport Harbor, 2-1

Jenn Uriarte scored five minutes into the second half to give Dana Hills a 2-1 victory over Newport Harbor in a Division I girls’ soccer wild-card playoff game Friday.
Dana Hills (14-6-3) faces Marina in the first round today. Newport Harbor finished 12-10-3.
In Division II:
Los Alamitos 6, Pacifica 4--Ali Ponce and Liz Willemse each scored twice for the Griffins (16-2-3), who face today’s Canyon-Trabuco Hills winner Tuesday. Pacifica finished 14-7.
In a Division IV game:
Los Angeles Marymount 5, Brethren Christian 0--Brethren Christian finished 9-9-2.
