In the Empire League:
Los Alamitos 2, El Dorado 0--Two infield singles and Michelle Schneider’s two-run triple provided the offense for second-ranked Los Alamitos.
Schneider, batting .411, had two hits as the Griffins (19-4, 8-0) beat El Dorado pitcher Heather Hamer (9-4) for the third time.
Debbie Wilson (13-1) matched Hamer with a six-hitter and was tough with runners on base; the visiting Golden Hawks (17-7, 6-2) had a runner in scoring position four times and had a runner at third in the last three innings.
Los Alamitos clinched a share of the league title with two games to play. Second-place El Dorado played its third game in three days, including a 2-0 victory over fifth-ranked Cypress on Wednesday.
