Rob Baldwin scored three touchdowns to help Duke defeat Army, 43-7, at Durham, N.C.
Baldwin’s scoring runs of seven, three and two yards give him seven touchdowns after three games, the best performance by a Blue Devil running back since Randy Cuthbert rushed for 10 touchdowns in the entire 1989 season. Duke is 3-0; Army 1-1.

The NCAA restored the eligibility of two of the five suspended Florida State football players, freeing All-American linebacker Derrick Brooks and reserve offensive lineman Marcus Long to play Saturday at Wake Forest. However, the NCAA extended the two-game suspension of senior tailback Tiger McMillon to three games. Florida State appealed the decision on McMillon and said a ruling was expected today. Patrick McNeil, a three-year starter at guard, had been suspended for three games but he will also sit out a fourth for an unspecified violation of team rules. Forrest Conoly had been suspended for four games. All were disciplined for taking gifts from a prospective agent last November.
