In consolation games:

Fountain Valley 76, Rancho Bernardo 72 (OT)--Daniel Keiler had 23 points to lead Fountain Valley, which outscored Rancho Bernardo 13-9 in overtime. Jeremy Killion had 34 points for Rancho Bernardo.

Capistrano Valley 75, Lynwood 62--John Earnest scored 17 points to lead Capistrano Valley (3-2).

In the Calvin Christian Schools Invitational:

Heritage Christian 49, Temecula Lindfield 48--Jay Williams’ jumper with two seconds remaining gave Heritage Christian (1-0) the victory. Williams finished with 17 and Jim Findlater with 18.

In the first round of the Laguna Hills tournament:

Rialto 66, El Toro 65--El Toro led the entire game until Rialto hit a shot with 10 seconds left to win. Travis Senik scored 20 points, including five of six three-pointers, for El Toro (2-3).

In the La Quinta tournament:

Huntington Beach 61, La Quinta 48--Matt Jones had 21 points and Jeremy Johnson added 19 to advance Huntington Beach to the championship game. Greg Greenfield had 21 points to lead La Quinta. Huntington Beach will meet Katella at 7:45 at La Quinta tonight.

Westminster 75, Liberty Christian 63--Scott Mizufuka had 24 points and Scott Yoshizuki added 21 to lead Westminster (3-4). Bryan Avery and Bob McClung each had 22 for Liberty Christian (2-3). In a quarterfinal of the Canoga Park Faith Baptist tournament:

Brethren Christian 83, Fontana Ambassador Christian 82 (3OT)--Franz Kreigo made one free throw with seven seconds left in the third overtime to win it for Brethren (3-0).

In the Pasadena Poly tournament:

St. Margaret’s 68, Marshall 53--Damian Raibon scored 25 points and had six blocks to lead St. Margaret’s (4-0).
