In the Santa Barbara men’s basketball tournament:

Rancho Santiago 86, Compton 68--Aaron Aguilera and Jimmy Harris each scored 20 points for Rancho Santiago (8-2) in the consolation game. Aguilera also had 14 rebounds.

In nonconference men’s basketball:

Los Angeles City College 86, Orange Coast 65--Markee Brown scored 25 points and Siapele Tuialii added 21 points to lead Los Angeles City College.

Damion Morbley led all scorers with 26 points for Orange Coast (5-4).

In the Hancock women’s basketball tournament:

Hancock 74, Golden West 69--Julie Murdent scored 20 points and Deana Itow scored 18 for Golden West (10-4) in the championship game.

In the Los Angeles Valley women’s basketball tournament:

Cypress 71, Chaffey 49--Sara Works scored 31 points and Stephanie Werdel added 12 for Cypress (9-4) in the third-place game.

In the Palomar women’s basketball tournament:

Rancho Santiago 53, Mount San Jacinto 44--Lisa Petronis scored 13 points and had 15 rebounds for Rancho Santiago in the third-place final. Griselda Cervantes was the leading scorer for the Dons (6-6) with 14 points.

In nonconference women’s basketball:

Orange Coast 103, San Diego Mesa 61--America Robledo scored 24 points and Jamie Shine scored 21 to lead Orange Coast (11-2).
