Penalties brought back two fourth-quarter San Fernando High touchdowns and the Tigers fell to Westchester, 12-6, Friday night in a nonleague game at Westchester.

With no time remaining, San Fernando quarterback Keijuan Douglas connected with Robert Garcia for what appeared to be a 54-yard touchdown pass. However, the play was nullified by an illegal procedure penalty.

Earlier in the quarter, a 32-yard touchdown run by Roger Bausley was erased by a holding penalty.

Brandon Campbell led San Fernando (0-2) with 107 yards rushing in nine carries. He scored San Fernando’s only points on a three-yard run in the third quarter.

Campbell gained 63 of his rushing yards in three carries on what was a 12-play, 94-yard drive.

Westchester’s Brennan Crooks connected on five of seven passes for 72 yards, including a 28-yarder to Darryl Taylor in the second quarter that put the Comets ahead 12-0 .

Westchester (2-0) had taken a 6-0 led on Darryl Dennis’ six-yard touchdown run earlier in the period. Dennis led the Comets in rushing for 70 yards in 12 carries.
