Oak Park 21, L.A. Baptist 19--Jeff Hoard ran for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass for the Eagles in a nonleague game at Calabasas High.
Mark McConico rushed for 136 yards in 12 carries for the Eagles (2-1).
L.A. Baptist quarterback Peter Dirksen rushed for two touchdowns and threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Brian Feirfeil with 1:20 remaining in the fourth quarter, which cut Oak Park’s lead to 21-19.
Hoard caught three passes for 54 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Josh Nicassio that gave Oak Park a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.
