Lisa Burke of Cathedral City High scored five goals in the Lions’ 9-0 soccer victory over Brawley last week. She added another goal Tuesday in a 3-0 victory over Central. Burke, a senior forward, was a first-team All-Desert Valley League selection on Cathedral City’s league championship team last season. Her coach, Allison Nave, said that Burke is a Division I prospect.
