The Cajon boys’ basketball team won last week’s Riverside Holiday tournament and George Martin was named MVP. Cajon is off to an 11-2 start and plays next week at the Walter Woo tournament in Hawaii. . . . Michael Salazar scored 39 points in Christian Center’s victory over Palm Valle last week. . . . Lindsi Parnell, a San Gorgonio striker, scored six goals against Pacific last week. She has half of her team’s 18 goals. . . . The Palm Springs girls’ soccer team scored a school-record 16 goals while shutting out Calexico last week. Tanisha Tatum scored four of the goals. . . . Wrestler David Sanchez of Bloomington won the 189-pound division at the Colton Christmas tournament and is 15-0 this season. . . . In girls’ basketball, Amanda Hollowell grabbed 26 rebounds and scored 10 points in Palm Springs’ victory over Coachella Valley. . . . Palm Desert is looking for a boys’ tennis coach.
