SEASON AT A GLANCE: Nakamura has scored 12 goals to help the Lancers surge to the upper reaches of the Marmonte League. “Kristi never lets down,” Thousand Oaks Coach Gail Kanney said. “She’s very quick to the ball and once she has it she knows exactly what to do with it.” Nakamura has won her team’s scholar-athlete award the past two seasons and is a member of the U.S. Olympic Development Program’s Under-16 national team.
