Orange Lutheran running back Che Holloway has verbally committed to Stanford, Orange Lutheran Coach Jim Kunau said.

Kunau said Holloway visited the campus in Palo Alto last weekend and was offered a full athletic scholarship. He agreed to sign a letter of intent on Feb. 7, the first day football players can sign.

In two varsity seasons at Orange Lutheran, Holloway rushed for 3,157 yards, and twice helped the Lancers reached the Southern Section Division X championship game. Last season, he set school single-season records in rushing yards (1,964), all-purpose yards (2,911) and points scored (140).
