Notes: There are six county teams in this bracket. . . . Seven teams, including Sonora, have first-round byes. But Raider Coach Mike Murphy could do without waiting until Friday to play. “The team you face will have an advantage from already having played [on Wednesday]. Your team feels more rusty,” he said. . . . Add Sonora: Since their Jan. 3 loss to Brea Olinda, the Raiders have won nine of the last 10 (all in league). Sonora will be trying to get past the semifinals, where it has lost the past two seasons. The Raiders have received a generous playoff slot; the only logjams could be a potential matchup with Pomona in the quarterfinals, and a contest with second-seeded Redondo Union in the semifinals. . . . Compton Centennial senior forward Eunique Johnson has a great name and a pretty good game (16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds).
