Sonora will be trying to get past the semifinals, where it has lost the past two seasons. The Raiders have received a generous playoff slot; the only logjams could be a potential matchup with Pomona in the quarterfinals, and a contest with second-seeded Redondo Union in the semifinals. . . . Compton Centennial senior forward Eunique Johnson has a great name and a pretty good game (16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds).
