DIVISION I-AA

Upland (19-7) at Los Alamitos (20-6), 7:30 p.m.

Los Alamitos Coach Steve Brooks said his team was deeply disappointed it finished second to Esperanza in the Sunset League and would try to make up for it in the playoffs. After defeating Arcadia, 67-62, the Griffins are a victory away from a potential quarterfinal matchup against top-seeded Long Beach Jordan.

Another second-round game:

Esperanza (24-3) at Glendale Hoover (16-9), 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION I-A

Mater Dei (28-1) at San Bernardino Cajon (18-9), 7:30 p.m.

The top-ranked Monarchs have a 28-game winning streak after pounding Santa Ana, 70-40. Mike Vukovich and Todd Lippold, who missed half the season with injuries, each scored 20 points. Cajon’s hopes rest on guard Louis Kelly. He scored a season-high 44 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked nine shots in an 81-66 victory over Walnut.

Other second-round games:

Westminster (12-14) at Moreno Valley Canyon Springs (20-8), 7:30 p.m.

Capistrano Valley (16-12) at Ventura Buena (16-9), 7:30 p.m.

Newhall Hart (20-7) at El Toro (13-14), 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION II-AA

Woodbridge (22-6) at Yucaipa (15-11), 7:30 p.m.

This won’t be an easy trip for the Warriors, who haven’t been winning by much lately. Yucaipa, a senior-dominated team, won a playoff game for the first time in 25 years. Senior forward Shaun McGinn had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the 74-61 victory over Whittier.

Other second-round games:

San Clemente (16-11) at North Torrance (13-4), 7:30 p.m.

Santa Margarita (19-6) at Canyon (21-6), 7:30 p.m.

Murrieta Valley (19-7) at Cypress (23-4), 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION II-A

Tustin (24-3) at Buena Park (16-12), 7:30 p.m.

If the second-seeded Tillers control the boards, they should have little problem with Buena Park. Towan Oliver of Buena Park scored 24 points--10 above his average--in the 72-55 victory over Los Amigos Friday. Tustin is led by David Lalazarian (25-point average) and Robert Griffin, who leads the county in three-point shooting accuracy (55%).

Other second-round games:

Compton Dominguez (26-2) at Ocean View (13-15), 7:30 p.m.

Troy (18-9) at Lakewood Artesia (22-5), 7:30 p.m.

San Bernardino Pacific (23-4) at Laguna Hills (18-8), 7:30 p.m.

Valencia (16-10) at Inglewood (24-3), 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION III-AA

Sonora (21-6) vs. Pasadena Muir (17-10), Pasadena HS, 7:30 p.m.

Sonora has won in the quarterfinals the last two seasons. Muir, a perennial playoff contender, has outscored its first two playoff opponents by an average of 31 points. Sonora, seeded third, received a first-round bye and then beat Calabasas, 82-52, with four players scoring in double figures.

DIVISION III-A

San Dimas (25-1) vs. Corona del Mar (17-10), Estancia HS, 7:30 p.m.

An enrollment increase pushed the Sea Kings, who won the Division IV-AA title last season, up a division for the playoffs. San Dimas features balanced scoring. Four players scored in double figures in an 86-51 victory over Temecula Valley Sultana. Corona del Mar beat West Hills Chaminade, 52-46, in a wild-card game, then La Canada, 72-54, Friday.

Another quarterfinal game:

Estancia (23-4) vs. Duarte (22-5), Azusa HS, 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION IV-A

Calvary Chapel (22-4) vs. L.A. Baptist (20-5), Sun Valley Village Christian HS, 7:30 p.m.

Calvary Chapel rallied for a 58-57 victory over Gardena Serra. Kevin Falconer had nine assists and eight rebounds for Calvary, but the Eagles’ leading scorer had only seven points. Fourth-seeded L.A. Baptist, which won a coin flip for the right to host this game, beat Mojave, 81-69.

Another second-round game:

L.A. Verbum Dei (15-9) vs. Orange Lutheran (12-12), Concordia University, 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION V-AA

Riverside Woodcrest Christian (19-7) at St. Margaret’s (10-13), 7:30 p.m.

St. Margaret’s, which upset Southern California Christian, 60-39, in the first round, now gets to host one of the division favorites, Riverside Woodcrest Christian, which rolled over Mammoth, 92-58, Friday.

DIVISION V-A

Heritage Christian (17-8) at L.A. Shalhevet (11-7), 7:30 p.m.

If Heritage Christian gets another performance like it did in Friday’s 85-75 victory over Long Beach Praise Temple, the Patriots will be fine. Four players scored in double figures. Shalhevet, located in the Fairfax District, played a limited freelance schedule but surprised one of the division’s better teams, Ridgecrest Immanuel Christian, 53-44.
