In Division I-AA:
Palmdale 62, Fountain Valley 51--Kristi Rose had 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead Palmdale (27-2) in a I-AA quarterfinal game. Jennifer Ludwicki led the third-seeded Barons (25-5) with 21 points. Fountain Valley led 39-33 after three quarters but Palmdale outscored the Barons, 16-9 in the fourth quarter and 11-2 in overtime to gain the upset.
In Division V-A:
Los Angeles Pilgrim 49, Liberty Christian 39--Trailing, 27-15, at halftime, visiting Liberty Christian rallied to within six points in the third quarter, but could get no closer in a semifinal game. Lisa Winters had 14 points and Heather Hill added 13 for the Minutemen (18-10).
Gina Nicholson had 28 points for Pilgrim (18-7).
