SEASON AT A GLANCE: Giltner has set three personal bests and tied another. She cleared 5 feet 8 inches to win the high jump and tie her personal best in the L.A. Invitational indoor meet at the Sports Arena last month. Last week, she set personal bests of 3,509 points in the pentathlon, 17-9 in the long jump and 34-11 in the shotput.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Giltner won the high jump, long jump and shotput in a 94-28 victory over Flintridge Sacred Heart on Thursday, and won the pentathlon in the National Scholastic Indoor championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass., on Saturday. Her 3,509 points moved her to 10th on the all-time national high school list. “I’m really happy with the win,” she said. “It definitely helps my confidence for the outdoor season.”
