St. Francis of Illinois routed Robert Morris of Chicago, 71-1, Tuesday in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference game that was surrendered after four innings by Robert Morris Coach Gerald McNamara.

St. Francis, a dual member of the NAIA and NCAA Division II, sent 30 batters to the plate in the first inning as they scored 26 runs, an NCAA record. The Fighting Saints scored 22 runs in the second, four in the third and 19 in the final inning.
