Great Scott Again--He Passes for 347--For Burroughs

J.K. Scott and Glenn Adriatico, one of the region’s best passing tandems, were at it again Friday night, leading Burroughs High to a 21-7 nonleague victory over Crescenta Valley at Glendale High.

Scott completed 24 of 37 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns.

Adriatico had all the scoring receptions, covering 32 and 57 yards in the first half and 15 yards in the third quarter. Adriatico had 12 catches for 216 yards, giving him 35 receptions for 622 yards this season.

Scott has passed for 1,186 yards and 14 touchdowns with two interceptions.

Burroughs improved to 4-1.

Crescenta Valley (2-3) scored on a two-yard run by Kenny Pritchett. Pritchett rushed for 94 yards in 22 carries, but lost three fumbles. Crescenta Valley had five turnovers.
