In other Northwest Valley Conference games:
Birmingham 33, San Fernando 12--Emanuel Evans rushed for 226 yards in 18 carries and scored on runs of 64 and four yards to lead the Braves at Birmingham.
San Fernando (2-3, 1-1) led, 12-0, in the second quarter, but was unable to stop the Braves’ passing game as quarterback Scott Doherty completed 11 of 15 of passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Midway through the third quarter, Evans caught a 24-yard pass from Doherty to put the Braves up, 20-12.
Ramon Rivera rushed for 81 yards in seven carries and Mike Gomez rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns in 16 carries for Birmingham (3-2, 1-1).
