Perfect games aren’t anything new to Freed. She had three heading into the first round of the Southern Section Division III playoffs. But she struck out 15 to pitch her fourth perfect game and seventh no-hitter, a 1-0 victory over Valencia. She also drove in the game’s only run, walking with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh.

* Los Amigos, senior. Won her second consecutive Division III title with a mark of 147 feet 8 inches, setting a division record.

* Woodbridge, senior. Won the Division II 100-meter title in a county-record time (11.85 seconds) and also won the 200 and anchored the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams.
Geney Orris/Pitcher
* Brea Olinda, senior. Pitched a two-hitter and had two RBIs in 6-0 victory over La Habra in the first round of the Division III playoffs.
