Freed pitched a no-hitter in a 3-0 victory over Glendora St. Lucy’s in the Southern Section Division III final and pitched a perfect game with 17 strikeouts in a 2-0 semifinal victory over Palm Desert last week. She gave up only three hits in five playoff starts and pitched three no-hitters, including two perfect games.

* Woodbridge, junior. Pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 2-0 victory over Santa Maria Righetti in the Division II final.

Keri Przygocki/Softball

* Calvary Chapel, senior. Pitched a six-hitter in 2-0 victory over Lancaster Paraclete in the Division V title game, her fourth consecutive playoff shutout.
